During our Ilocos trip, one of the places that we endeavoured was the La Paz Sand Dunes in Paoay. The place was awesome, it’s as if we were transported to the whatever deserts of whatever sandy country. It’s just sand, and hills, and sandy hills wherever you look. This is one of those places where it is appropriate to use the phrase, “Eat my dust.”
These are our rides. Each jeep can accomodate four passengers, kaya nga 4×4 di ba. *Insert laugh here*
Joanne (Meyds’ sister), Jolo (Meyds’ brother), and Kuya Allen (Meyds’ driver) rode with me.
While Pes, Meyds, Mar, and Sotto took the other jeep.
Look at us and our priorities.
The ride was fun and bumpy and like Never Say Never, ’tis your chance to scream / shriek / holler / howl / yell / whatever like a teenage / prepubescent girl. Do note however that doing so will only reaffirm the drivers’ belief that it is their life’s mission to make sure that you’re hoarse after the ride.
This is where the off-roading ends and where the sandboarding begins. A warning to those who are planning to try this out, wala man lang silang konsepto ng beginner hill or course, as in yung pinakamataas na talaga na sandhill yung i-e-endeavs.
There are two types of boards depending on whether you’ll be sitting down.
Or standing up.
Up, up, here we go, go. Up, up, here we go, go.
In all fairness isang tanginaaaaa lang pala yung katapat ng takot over going down, the more challenging part is not falling out of your board. (See: Kuya Allen) But the most challenging part as in yung hindi na kaya ng isang tanginaaaaa ay yung pag-akyat pabalik. As in pakshet potashet what is workout?
Sa sobrang struggle umakyat, nagpupustahan na yung mga kasama ko sa taas if it’ll take me 20 or 30 minutes to get back up.
And I came up with this wonderful idea to do fauxboarding. Oha oha.
And Meyds and Mar joined in the fun.
See, fauxboarding produced pretty pictures, pretty fake. Lulz.

In fairness sa fauxboarding picture mo, pwedeng Roxy ad.
Very wala ngang mukha eh, hello araw.
Also, mainis ka sa fauxboarding photo ni Mar, ganyan siya kagaling she doesn’t even have to bend her knees. Lulz.
HAHAHAHAHA
Yes, alam mo naman ako, produkto ng Fitness First, kailangan fumight.
17 minutes ka ata. HAHAHAHA
SALAMAT SA PAGBILANG HA, MARAMING SALAMAT.
Alam mo naman, I keep you grounded coz I love you like that. hihihihihi.
and oh I just made that up. HAHAHAHA no clue kung ilang minutes yun
))
Eon, weird, Akismet marked your comment as spam.
HAHAHA. At masaya nga, nakakapagod lang umakyat. And you get sand everywhere.
this is so Temptation Island-ish! ang saya saya saya teh!!!!!!
#Warla sa Temptation Island-ish ‘te! May mga menor de edad!
potangena, ang benta! i feel so cheated! hindi kami nakapunta dito when i went to ilocos. fail. hahaha
Try it next time you go back!
The result: i just ate your dust. Waapaakk!!!
Sayang naman! We stayed at a friend’s house so malaking kabawasan sa gastos. Hanap ka ng friend in Ilocos!
the pictures got in La Paz Sand Dunes in Laoag City and not in Paoay Sand Dunes where temptation island shot.
Thanks for the info, will verify.
how much po yung budget nyo for your ilocos tour? most tours kasi dont offer yung sand dunes adventure..gracias
Ay sorry di ko na rin maalala, I think around 500PHP per person ang binayad namin and 7 kami.
