Hello, I just came back from a book-hunting trip to TriNoma to try to get all of the books in Patrick Ness’ Chaos Walking trilogy. I went through all of the bookstores inside but none of them had the whole set and it was frustrating. I have a particular quirk towards trilogies and book series, I have to have the whole set before I could start on it. This particular quirk can be attributed to that time in college when a friend persuaded me to read The Lord of the Rings trilogy. He initially gave me three books including the prequel to the trilogy, The Hobbit and promised to give the fourth one soon. That fourth book is the second book in the trilogy and until now I still don’t have it and I still haven’t read the three other books that he gave me and I don’t plan to anymore.

Books are also fakkin’ expensive. One book in the Chaos Walking trilogy costs Php450 and if I can’t get the whole set in one go (with uniform minimalist covers) then sorry Mr. Ness but I’d very much rather hold onto my money and read the eBooks that my good friend Abi sent me.

In other news, young adult dystopian books are awesome. In other other news, let’s share our eBooks with each other. In other other other news, 2EPUB is an awesome online ePub converter.
