Shopping is a very enjoyable experience in Bangkok; the city is basically one big shopping place, the goods are cheap, and Thai vendors are oh so willing to haggle. One market that really stood out for me is the market beside the Grand Palace. According to my extensive Googling, it is an amulet market. However, we found more than just amulets there. We found used shoes and phone chargers and old toys and a pile of eyeglasses and shades. Some of these things look like they’re just random items from the vendor’s home. Is this the Thai version of ukay-ukay?
To my friends who’ve been to Bangkok, what is this market? To my friends who will be going to Bangkok, what is this market? To random Googlers from Thailand, what is this market?

Hahaha. Madadaanan ‘to papunta sa Buddha na nakahiga.
Parang Singapore’s Thieves Market (I’ve never been there, nadaanan ko lang on my research and we might drop by when we go to SG) lang! Hahaha. I especially liked the guy who’s selling eyeglasses. Baka may interesting frames.
Hahaha! Basta any-any nalang yung binebenta nila. It’s still a fascinating site, though.
Thieves Market? Inneresting!
mahihiya ang quiapo dito. nasagot ba ang tanong na “what is this market?”
Hindi pa rin. Hahaha.
Hahaha. And I still don’t know what this place is called.
i’ve seen this type of market setup somewhere along juan luna going to KP tower and tutuban mall…. me mga nakalatag na charger, lighters, action figures, etc…..parehong-pareho…
if you’re in luck meron ding marvel comic books like transformers na nakalatag (1st edition pa ata)
sa bandang raon sa quiapo meron ding nagtitinda ng mga kinahoy na PC parts (i.e. mobos, optical drives, HDDs, etc.)….be wary though kung bibili kayo….i have a friend who bought a 500GB hdd but it turned out na 4GB lang ung actual capacity c:
Talaga? Interesting! So uso pala talaga ang odd assortment of used chenes stuff kahit saan?
