The second book in Patrick Ness’ Chaos Walking trilogy is still depressing. I keep on hoping that maybe there will be a happy ending in The Ask And The Answer but na uh uh, still squat. The trilogy’s classified as Young Adult Dystopian and the protagonist’s a thirteen year old boy but tweens should stay away from it. I’m tempted to read the final chapter of the third book first just so I’ll know if there will ever be a happy ending or if I just tortured myself with sadness and despair and more sadness.
